Cocoa futures on the New York Board of Trade are in a strong price uptrend, as seen on the daily bar chart. There are no early technical clues of a market top being close at hand as the bulls have the solid near-term technical advantage. The bears would regain some fresh downside near-term technical momentum if they could push and close September cocoa futures below a strong support zone located at $2,035 to $2,004. The bulls would gain additional upside power by pushing September futures above strong chart resistance at the contract high of $2,141. Stay tuned!
